This is my Bday clones for this year, I make clones every year on my birthday, for fun ^_^. You can see the previous clones here 2008, 2007_1, 2007_2

This cup is a gift from my sweet Mommy, I do love it so much ^_^ “Calm & Gentle”! I just don’t have much time to work more with this shot, a lot of works waiting for me at the office so I have to stop now. I wished I had finished it yesterday but…hixhix.

First, I thought I’d keep it as simple as the poster but without the Photoshop processing, my pupil looked quite funny. You also can see my tripod and my messy room ^_^. So I decided to hide them with some tectures ^_^

I can’t write much because  I have to work very early tomorrow morning. I hate working on Sunday hix hix.

- Take photo of my back, clean the background.

- Use an iron texture to apply on my skin. You should apply texture on every small areas, use WRAP TOOL to curve, bend it fit to your back. Set the blending mode for texture layer to Overlay (if you don’t like it, try other blending modes)

- Again, use grunge texture to apply over the photo. In this one, I used a grunge texture but duplicated to 2 layers, set blending mode for layer one to Soft Light and second one to Overlay. I suggest you should try all blending modes to find which one you prefer.

Using warp tool in Photoshop CS3. You don’t know how much I love this tool. It’s very cool!

Effect: Drop shadow + Inner Bevel + Satin + Color Overlay

It’s an awesome trick and I really really love it! You need a chair or a ladder to bring yourself up there (and down). ^_^. See photos below.

Don’t move your camera. Take 3 shots (or more): left foot – right foot – only background.
Set the self-timer 30 seconds so you have enough time to climb and kick out spiders and lizards ^_^

Ladies! Be careful when you climb. My left heel hurt almost a week after this shot so be careful!

If you’ve got a self-portrait that is blur, out of focus or u think it’s not nice enough to show it alone, so try to put them in a frame or a mirror then hang them on the wall or table; add more stuffs around ur portrait. It will be more interesting than showing only a portrait.

They’re stuffs I found on internet. You can easily “google” them with keyword such as “home decor”, “wall decor”…or exactly word of things you like.

Modify color, brightness/contrast and blending mode after put stuffs on ur photo to mix them fit the background.

Remember to add SHADOW for each stuff.

This is my flying self portrait. Wonder how to take it? Well it’s very easy. Just JUMP & ROTATE your photo.

Here is the jump I took, easy eh.
The point of this photo is Gravity details, such as ur dress, ur hair. I used some hair brushes to show Gravity.
You can download hair brushes here ; learn How to install brushes and Using brushes. (Quick tip: I often drag&drop photoshop brushes into Photoshop window to install them ^@^)

For making an image like this, I took 2 shots: one of my front and one of my back.
Remember don’t move your camera and try to stand at the same place in 2 photos because that makes you work easier in photoshop.
Put 2 photos to photoshop and use layer mask to show and hide details on each layer.
